I laid down a beige diamond RaceDeck floor on September 1st. It is already showing tire marks on my new floor. I tried to clean the marks with non-sudsing ammonia but they would not come off. I next tried a little bit of Simple Green with the same negative results. I even replaced the worst tiles that the vehicles sit on, but the same marks appeared. We drive a Subaru Forrester and Hyundai Santa Fe. I chose RaceDeck because of the claims that it will not be effected by tire marks. I am VERY frustrated !!! Any one else experience tire marks on their RaceDeck floor or have any recommendations on how to get the tire marks off. Also, will the tires marks keep on appearing if I ever get them cleaned ???

Is the marks from treated tires, such as armorall applied to them, or is it from hot tires?

I have the beige tile in my garage. They’ve always shown tire marks with any type of tire; harder all-seasons, soft R-comp, mud, or motorcycle tries, and everything in between. For me, I expected this going in with it being a lighter color and it’s not offensive to me by any means (and I’m the type of guy who keeps everything I own clean and polished - I wear cleanroom shoe covers in the garage to avoid traipsing in excess dirt and debris).
I also chose the color because it matched the house and my epoxy flooring. I installed the Racedeck back in the vicinity of 2014-15 (can’t remember for sure) and below is a pic of how it looks today. It’s not the best pic of the tire marks, but you can see them below the tires of the car that is up in the air, as well as to the side where motorcycles used to be parked. The marking isn’t too heavy, but it’s there, just like the tire marks that are likely running up your driveway and into the garage.

Hmm... that just looks like what happens when you drive a car on tiles (especially light beige tiles). I don't know man. If those kind of marks are a concern a black or grey tile might have been better.

It may not necessary be the tire itself but the stuff you are driving over everyday (like asphalt, sealcoat, oil and other chemicals) that are sticking to the hot tire and making it onto your floor.
If you park in the same space every night, maybe consider putting a darker color like espresso, graphite or black down where the tires would end up.

I am failing to see these 'tire marks' in your pictures, OP. I see some light scuffing, are you trying to clean scratches out of the tiles?

Threads like this make me wonder about some of the people on the internet. I understand wanting a neat/clean garage, after all I have what I consider a neat/clean two car & a neat/clean one car with a shop area. In that shop area I have a couple of directors chairs with a shop made cocktail table between them. We sit there in the evenings & enjoy the end of he day, the boats on the intracoastal, & the sunset. I like my relaxation in a clean/neat area! However, I do realize it's a GARAGE! The walls are decorated with pegboard, tools, extension cords, & parts. The bench & cabinets are *usually* neat & clean, but at times have disassembled projects on them, & at times our view is hampered by projects.
I have alloy tiles (with some red & black trim) in my shop. After 5 or 6 years I also have tire marks where my car sits....<shrug> When the car's there the marks are covered. When the car's not there neither am I. If you want your GARAGE floor to look like a living room floor do like 80% of Americans, put furniture in your GARAGE & park in the driveway.

Completely agree. It's like people who always complain about certain suv's not feeling sporty enough. Like, uh, DUH, that's not its purpose.
You should simply pull up the tiles and sell them and go with some other type floor. I'm being serious: you will likely never be happy if those almost invisible marks bother you. Actually, I am not sure I can see them, myself. My wife's best friend has very strong case of OCD and actually replaces all the carpet in her home every single year, regardless of how it looks [which is always showroom new]. She'd likely do the same with a plastic-tiled garage floor. She replaces that carpet because, to her, it doesn't look new anymore. To us, it appears it was put down yesterday.
So, go with something else. Actually, I'm thinking this may just be a troll-like post, seeing if anyone gets all bent over it.

I'm not sure I can see anything at all in your photos, unless you're talking about the small amount of scuffing? That seems like it's gonna happen with anything, and not even remotely a defect (or something you can clean off).
The floor looks good. Relax and enjoy it.
