Looking for a tool that will resync the sensors to the correct corner of the car after a tire rotation. Looking for something that would work for most any brand (we have a Caravan and a Cruze which have tpms). Not trying to spend a fortune here, just want to see what's out there for the diy guy.

The Cruze should be able to be done by putting it in learn mode and then deflating the tires in order. IIRC its 5 psi you have to drop. The Chrysler there is no need to relearn after a rotation as its supposed to be automatic. Regardless you'd have to be able to program them through the OBD2 port to do it.

Ok next question. How do you put the Cruze into 'Learn mode'? Scan tool?

Should be able to Google it... iirc you hold lock and unlock at the same time on the key fob, then go around deflating tires til the horn honks. There is a specific order you do the tires in, but it's been a while and I can't remember it.

Refer to that book of forbidden verses called an owners manual.

Seriously though, on the cruze you should have a menu button on your dash or turn signal stalk, that will allow you to scroll to a screen on the driver's info center showing your four tire pressures, once at that screen, you should be able to press the set/clr button to enter relearn mode. Then you can ping the sensor by either using the GM orange tool (less than a $100) or another TPMS tool or scan tool.

There's no uploading through the DLC with the cruze.

The caravan doesn't track individual tire pressures by position so, I wouldn't worry about relearning those. The light will come on when a tire is lower than another.
