Anyone have a suggestion for a good tire for a Grand Caravan? I need to replace the tires on mine. I could replace with what's on their now..some model Goodyear, but I want something a bit quietier. Any ideas?

Thanks
Coach

+1 on the Michelins. I have a set on a car with 70,000+ miles on them. They have been great in any weather, quiet and well manered. These tires don't "seep" air over time. Rotation has been around every 5000 miles. Very even wearing.

My Toyota Tacoma has a set with about 26000 miles on them. Been rotated 4 times. No visible wear. Excellent tires!

Michelins from Sam's Club-- one of the better bargains out there.

Michelin's Weather wise or Hydro Edge is what we all "lean" toward at work for mini vans if cust comes to use asking for the very best all round tire.

I run Michelins on my wifes caravan and my F150. I run some Sumitomos on my Town and Country. The Sumitomos run quiet and wear well and were about half the price of the Michelins. My Town and Country is my beater so I put a cheaper tire. I'm surprized how well they ride and wear. I still love my Michelins

Tires are like appliances- What one person swears by another person swears at. :)
The 04 Chevy Venture that the family unit drives I just put Cooper CS4 tires on about 2 months ago.
I am happy with them.

Hankook H727 is rated for 100k, and I can vouch that if the vehicle is aligned properly and the tires are rotated every 5 or 6k, they will last that long.

Cooper CS4 is a good tire.

Michelin makes a nice tire, but damn are they pricey.

If money is your hang up on tires, find a set of Runway Enduros. They wear well, and if rotated, they can last well beyond their rated life expectancy. I have these on my daily and they are nice tires, nice grip, good in snow, great in rain.

Michelin MXV4 plus are what alot of customers love and will come in asking for the exact same tire regardless of price. They work well on minivans. Another popular minivan tire is the Michelin Hydroedge and they are rated for 90k miles. Also check out the Goodyear Assurance, its a good tire.

Now i work at firestone and i dont see nearly as many quality tires than when i worked at a michelin store.

Michelins are generally quiet tires but I don't remember the last set of new tires I bought I guess its different when you mount and balance your own tires.... Plus I'm on a very limited budget

I would stick with Michelins. After having a flat in the middle of no where and a donut hole in the trunk, I decided not to buy any more Chinese tires. Most tires are made in China now. Michelins are one of the few still made in the U.S. The sidewall will tell you where it is made. And there is a date code to check and make sure the tire isn't already old. Tires age even when on the shelf or crossing the ocean. :)
