Built these tire racks out of leftover powder coated garage door hangers. They have stainless steel chains and hardware. Because my garage is a timber frame with super insulated panels there are no studs, so I had to suspend one rack from the ceiling timber.

Not bad. Are those authentic ACS wheels?

Love your 2002 in your avatar.

Authentic Hartge wheels for the 2002Tii from an E30, the A.C. Shnitzer M3 wheels are replicas I got for free from a friend who put BBS RGRs on his car.

The avatar is Vern, my '73 Tii.

Free replicas are still free! Haha. Not bad.

I read your other threads and my god I love your collection. I was given the option to purchase an older 80's model 7 Series in the spring for cheap that I may pick up. How do you find the maintenance on the 2002?

The 2002Tii, Vern, gets inspected twice a year and gets whatever it needs, it's like a new car and I maintain it to that standard. I drive the hell out of it every chance I get, did about 7K miles last year. Last year I had to replace the distributor, coil and plug wires to fix a misfire.

Cool tire rack man, but I think we need to see more of that garage's interior!

I was gonna say the same thing....

Thanks for posting those links. You sir have an amazing garage. Love what you have done in there and what you keep in there.
