I went to my local costco today and they didn't have them in Stock yet. The manager said that they would have them out in about a week. I wonder how the quality is for a diy auto repair. I'm guessing they aren't made in the USA.

Interesting. Took a look on Amazon for Titan screwdrivers and did not find any sets that were exactly like this in terms of handle style or number of pieces in set. Reviewers of Ttian ranged all over from 1 to 5 stars. A negative review that cropped up several times for the magnetic tipped versions was that the tip broke off easily, so buyer beware.

OP why don't you buy a set a give us your review :)

We (O'Reilly) sell Titan stuff, we have a lot of it in the shop at work. Nice stuff, standard to most other brands out there. They have a lot of different bit kits and screwdriver kits, none of them are super-impressive or junky...kinda in the middle. I have a bit kit at home, nice stuff but it's the same as what you'd get at the local big box stores.

Most of the time the stuff that gets returned is only returned because a magnet fell out of the bit holder, or a screwdriver was missing in the pack. Otherwise, I haven't had any issues with the stuff I've used.

Honestly at Costco I was curious about their huge socket (etc) set, made in Taiwan, and currently $79 down from $99.

rick96 actually I will pick a set up. I was reading somewhere that when Costco has price endings that end in 9 but are not .99 that it usually signifies a good deal that Costco cut with supplier. I found this same set online from some small auto parts chain for 29dollars.

I think I am going to pick a set up when they arrive at my Costco. I need a new set of screwdrivers and was planning on buying the newest set from Tekton that is sold at Meijer's. But for 20 bucks I can't really complain too much.

In spite of reading those mixed reviews on Amazon, I am also likely to pick a set up for use at my workbench. I already have a couple of sets of the 1/4" hex head screwdriver bits that have every type of driver known to man, but then you always fiddle around changing bits. With this I can just pick up the driver needed, use it, and then put it back in its place. I will use this mostly for small items, electronics repairs and the like so don't need to apply much torque so the tips will probably stay attached. And who doesn't need another set of screwdrivers?

I've been impressed with everything Titan I've bought. A couple of years ago I needed a 6" Philips bit at work after I broke the tip of the one I had. Just down the street was Princess Auto, and the only long bits they had were these Titans, I'd never even heard of them before. I bought a 2 pack, but only used the one. Since then I've bought more Titan stuff, in fact now I look for it.

I picked a set up Saturday morning. They are a decent set, they will work for me since I only work on my own cars.

My local Costco finally got these in. Sadly they are now $29.99. I still bought them because I needed a beater set and the stand made a perfect fit for my needs. Overall I would say they get a pass, but they're nothing special.

I'll have to check, but these look like the set I bought a few years ago at Costco. No complaints for the price. Like said above, middle range quality.

My next set, will probably be a Tekton set.

My Son lost so many of mine when we were at the other house. Now,he does not live with us, so I bought this set, got it yesterday. I like the handles on these a lot, have allied pro and really like them, use them at work as well, very much the same. I'd call it a deal , shipped to me for only $19.99.

I would say that cool stand is worth the $20!

+1
I'd look at mounting it up off the bench.

I bought a Allied ( Taiwan ) screwdriver & combo wrench set at *Price Club some 30 years ago, I'm happy to report they've all been really great.
