Titan vs. HF/Kobalt - not the same

Just to clear some things up, the Titan ratchets (at least the non composites) are distinctly different while being visually similar. Here are the photos showing the difference.

Basically they are similar, but definitely not the same.

There are quite a few people who have been saying that the Titan/Harbor Freight/Kobalt ratchets are the same. As somebody who owns all 3, I just wanted to clear up they aren't the same.

Titan selector lever is retained by a screw through it's center?

Button on the Kobalt is black?

Could be time frame produced instead of brand?

The Titan selector is not held in by a screw at all, while the HF and the Kobalt are. The pawls from the Titan are thicker and won't fit in the HF/Kobalt. Different design.
