why are they listed as light duty? What does that mean? Not heavy duty or light weight?

I believe those are designed for use around strong magnetic fields, such as would be encountered in an MRI suite.

Titanium is not that strong. It is notch sensitive so crack easily if design improbably.

Just curious but what is the hardware on that box made from? Notice the box is wood (to be non-magnetic, I assume?) but the hardware could still magnetize.

In a very magnetic environment (MRI as A_Pmech mentioned) a very, very small amount of magnetizable material is enough...
