I've had a couple of them in various sizes for about five years or so. They work very well in a number of situations where a regular socket extension puts the ratchet in a knuckle busting position.
I like to use them to remove header bolts from cylinder heads. On my SVT Focus I'm able to rotate the ratchet handle 360 degrees when pulling header bolts/nuts.
They are also helpful to remove bolts from water pump pulleys etc on the belt drive set up on cars where you would normally use a wrench.

I saw these at SEMA this year and decided to buy all three. Haven't used any of them yet, but I think they will prove their worth next time I do something restricted.

The only real use for this is with a cordless or air ratchet and I just don't see myself using it very often. I guess it might be useful for those with only a single ratchet but if you have several different 80+ tooth ratchets in various lengths you'd never have to use it. If it could transfer impact force it would be an amazing tool but it wont. There is too much slop in the mechanism.

^if the 1/4 was 20" to 30" it will very useful. The 3/8 probably not as much specially since I own the ez red long flex ratchets wrenches. may go wth 1/4 drive only over the years I could have used it couple times will have save me frustration and time

Bumping this thread a little. Has anyone used one of these since this was first posted? I saw awhile back that they now have a heavy duty 1/2" style wrench. Just curious if anyone thinks it's worth it or not. Or just another one of those hyped up gimmick tools.
