Thought id start a thread of the new shop addition.
the shop is being built on a some what tight budget , yet trying to do my best with the craftsmanship side , since i dont normally work with dead tree carcuss.
Like all the tools and machines i bring home, there pretty much ready for the scrap yard.
and are in need of lots of attention and time , more so then money .
all the work including excavating was done by my dad ,neighbor and i .
in order to get the excavating done , i had to repair a buddys digger.
The cost so far with lumber ,gutters , asphalt roof , concrete floor , concrete footing and blocks , rebar , gravel , and dirt fill is around $12,500.00
The roof is all hand cut 2x6 rafters and 2x8 floor joists.
with 8"x12" 32 foot floor beam.
Ive been on garage journal for some years , and posted a few threads of machines ive repainted.
Garage started out as 25' × 30'
Its now going to be 25 ' x 62'
Max the city would allow on my property.
Or i would have went to a full 100
foot
