USAG hammers don't hold up so well, either loose handles new or faces that mushroom or chip other USAG stuff is ok hammers not so good

Well, I clicked on Mr. Schoendorff's link and saw one very ugly wrench; I think I'll pass on those.![]()
Called the stanley customer service on friday and asked about the 440 series wrenches and he looked in the computer and confirmed that they are made in Taiwan. The series 45 tother wrenches are from italy, ratchets too, jacks spain, pliers + screwdrivers france, hammers taiwan/france, 1" sockets france (didnt asked about smaller sizes).........
it is 130 U.S dollars I do not remember how much it was in pounds
