To all the snap on junkies out there.....

Anyone heard of a current snap-on promotion in their 3/8 drive stuff? I was tipped off that they are doing a package deal where you get 3/8 drive short sockets, deep sockets, set of extensions, and the standard dual 80 ratchet for under 400 bucks! Just wanting to confirm this. If they are doing this, i'm jumpin all over it. That's too much of a deal to pass up.

Btw, I personally know someone who bought the 1/2 stuff a couple weeks ago. It was the same deal, 1/2 drive deep sockets, shallow sockets, and the standard handle dual 80 1/2 ratchet, and he paid the price of the deep socket set. The other stuff was thrown in.

I did the 3/8 deal beginning of the year and it really helped me fill out my sets. I haven't seen that deal though in my region.

Well, it helps. At least I know that there is some kind of chance. I been waiting and waiting to see a deal come up on the 3/8 drive stuff. Craigslist and ebay just haven't had the deal i've been looking for and I really wanna fill out my 3/8 drive stuff, we'll see what happens I guess!

i got one of the 1/2 deals. deep 10-20 and shallow 11-19 ( i think) with a standard size dual 80 ratchet for the price of the deeps. if my dealer has that same deal in 3/8 i'm going to grab one for sure! now i'm excited!!

Well, time to call my dealer bright and early. Have they previously done this promotion on the 1/4 drive items? Hoping so.

A few weeks ago I got a 3/8 deep metric set, and got a long ratchet, a few extentions, a universal joint, and a spark plug socket free. Just paid for the deep sockets.

just ask your dealer if I mention something like that they either know about it or look into it or get one of the packages from another local dealer if he is out even after the sale is over and still give it to you at the promo price
