To grind or not to grind slab.

So I have made some other posts on with some of the issues with my new shop slab. We have not had the shop erected yet. We asked for a garage floor smooth finish in the concrete. The contractor used the polisher but did not do a very good job at getting it smooth. See photos. So my question for those of you who have experience with concrete work? Will I be able to smooth this out with a walk behind concrete grinder or will I make it worse? I have purchased a two-part sealer to seal the floors with and hope that will fill in some of the roughness, but I really don’t know. I’ve had concrete floors poured before to a smooth finish and this is far from some of those jobs.

Yes, it can be ground smooth. No, sealer won’t fix it. Have the contractor grind it. But be ware, not all ground/polished slabs look great, all depends on the mix below.
