I did a search on this and didn't find anything. We've been putting dielectric grease on our flashlight batteries and contacts for about 5 yrs. Have not had any corrosion problems. There are several dissimilar metals with batteries and flashlights. Copper and steel contacts, aluminum or steel housing, copper or steel springs and steel battery cases, etc. What have others done to reduce or eliminate flashlight battery corrosion?

Two different things. Fight corrosion with dielectric grease. Fight battery leakage by using non-alkaline batteries.
