The floor has a bunch of cracks. My plan is to use EPOXY-COAT. Do all the cracks need to be filed or will the epoxy seal the small ones? The 1st picture is of the small river with its tributary. The 2nd is of the grand canyon. I filled it with QUIK-RETE in two steps letting the first set up 24 hrs. It runs the length of the garage and to the end of the driveway. The rest of the cracks are thinner then the tributary and two to three feet in length. My? is should I regroup and go with a tile or take my chance that the floor won’t open up. The house is in central Florida, built in 1995 but new to me.

That is really strange that the crack lines up with the one on the drive way... they are separate pours and the house should be a lot thicker.

I think you can fill the crack with the epoxy caulk but we can wait for the pro's to chime in :headscrat

Since the house is 15 years old I doubt you will continue to see that much movement. My suggestion is to make sure all the cracks are filled and sanded smooth. Then apply the epoxy.
When you say tile I assume you are talking about racedeck? racedeck is always a good option just $$$. I think regular ceramic tile looks like a kitchen in your garage, but to each their own. Good luck

Why doesn't everyone in the US move to Florida or CA? I would!!

On your topic, the flooring guys will say to caulk it with a hardening yet flexible crack product. Then epoxy it.

I did notice that when I did mine, prior to doing the flakes, the cracks did show through. At least with the flakes it hides it all.
