Here is a Picture of the home garage that I do most of my work in it is heated and air conditioned with a 100AMP panel and 3PH rotary convertor. I have a lathe, mill, air compressor and welder:

And here are some pictures of my shop space presently used for storage but eventually will be doing all my work in it:
This will be where my machine shop area is settup:

This is going to be my engine building area:

This area across the back will be used primarilly for cars and car part storage:

And then the area from where I took pictures of the machine shop and work area is about 30'X20' and has a 2 post lift I will be putting in for all the mechanical work.

Great pics -- It's amazing how much work gets done in small shops, and how creative people can get with regard to equipment installation and choice.

That small double car is absolutely a tribute to functional oraganization -- everything of importance is in there -- fantastic!

I'm happy that you're getting a bigger shop, but folks like myself can only dream of big real estate garages that look like that. We're stuck in the "small home shop" mode. Good luck!!! please keep the pics coming.

Thnak for the replies it does require alot of organization to pack all of the **** into my garage, and I have alot stored in my shop and it is sometimes a hasle to move it back and forth when needed but hopefully someday I will have the shop up and working and the garage will be just for my auto work, or just be able to park the DD in there. Here is a picture of each side of the garage. Before this arrangement I had the Lathe at the back wall and a bench where the lathe is now. I find if hard sometimes to work without a bench for a work area, but it is better off that I can fit a car in the garage to work on it when the need arises.

My first car was a '66 LeMans....I loved that car and it would be great to get hold of another one someday. Mine was a Sprint 6 (OHC 6 cyl. with 4bbl. Rochester carb. & hurst shifter)...not common then and real tough to find these days.

My 5th or 6th was a 66 Lemans sprint . miss that car !

This car has been in my family since new and is putting through the whole frame off resto. Just got it onto the frame a couple of days ago now working on body work.

It looks hydraulic to me. The porta-power style pump at the other end of the hose is behind the hand operated arbor press.

There are actually 2 presses in that picture. The one in the forground is a hand operated arbor press, the second is a Harbor frieght C-frame arbor press hydraullic ram 10 ton. They both work very well for their different uses. The only gripe I have with the c-frame press is that it only came with 2 extensions and it doesn't reach sometimes and I haven't taken the time to make another one.

Here is a picture of my S-10 and the engine durring assembly. The rocker stands are parts that I made so that I could use the offset rockers. They are fastened to the stock location with a pin between the two rockers to keep them inline. The great thing about this settup is it almost totally eliminated the deflection compared to conventional studs. Seat pressure is around 400 lbs. and the cam specs are little wild with about .574 for both intake and exhaust. Hopefully I will be able to run it more this next year and find out exactlly what kind of power gets to the ground. Thanks for looking.
