good buys.
We called at Todmorden flea market. A huge stall full of ****. I had money burning a hole in my pocket and couldn't buy anything.

same with me, a load of cheap nonsense few decent items. A few big vises but I wasn't lugging them home on the bus with me!

I love my big Record stilsons, the vises are the best as well. The small one I got today is missing 1 spring but no big deal.

The sockets are Stanley.

The extensions are a no name brand but tbh the uses I have for them mean theres no need for silly high torque stresses on them anyway so they will do just fine.

Still can't find my missing snap on 4 inch extension I feel like crying a wee bit

On the bus? Holy cow, I haven't been on a bus since I rode a school bus when I was 15. Sometimes I wish I didn't live out in the sticks...I'm 20+ miles from the nearest light rail or bus line into St Louis. You guys in England and Scotland have it made!

yes on the bus, think LA gridlock, thats pretty much Glasgow city centre. Then parking depending on where you go 13 quid a day!

The train station is about 500 yards away and much better, its 2 stops into the centre of Glasgow, its great. Wasn't running yesterday due to the works going on though.

The barras is a famous market, according to the stalls world famous  Its an institution of, well I suppose trailer trash junk really. Theres been many interesting things there, liek the Charles Rennie Macintosh stolen fireplaces they were selling for £120 each and they were worth 5 million etc.

The extensions are an unknown make but for the money they'll do the job as they are limited use anyway but very handy.

In my younger days, I found myself working next to a guy from the UK by the name of Dave Harrington.

I had only been there about two days when, to my horror, Dave told me he was going out to have a ***.:eek2:
