Went to the Monro swap meet today not looking for anything in particular. But did find a few things. The Sears-Penske analyzer is complete and registered on the car battery so hoping the rest is good. I think the speed wrench is a Montgomery Wards tool. I will have to get into body work soon so I figured I would start acquiring tools now….Anyone k ow when sears penske was around? I am thinking 70’s.

Mike

Is there any way to 'rejuvenate' the rubber in the cables? I know it is the way things are as rubber gets older it breaks down. But is there a way stave that off?

OK, I figured that was the case. The only thing I cannot lose is the clip that goes into the machine, they are special to that machine.

The clips look like Molex fittings, with the right tool the pins can be removed and the plug reused.

Anyone with the pins probably has the fittings. YMMV
