I was up in Sanford today, and as I was moving into a turn lane, I spotted a ratchet in the lane. I drove past it, checked to see no cars around, and hopped out and picked it up. It's a Stanley 89-817B, 1/4" "black" chrome. It's scuffed up pretty good, but works fine. I know it's not a high dollar tool, but still a net gain for me.

I have a twin to that. Pretty sure it came off the Mac truck as part of a Jesse James or Monster Garage promo.

It's at my car wash so not like it gets used everyday but it's been a nice little ratchet.

Found this one last night. I already have three 12” adjustable wrenches but still couldn’t leave this guy on the side of the road. It had some red spray paint on one side and the adjustment screw was a little stuck but it cleaned up nicely. It’s no Sanp On; only $15 new at Homer’s house.

A decent tool for free, good-goin'.

I passed a 5' aluminum stepladder the other day, but it was on I-95 (on the swale) and I didn't want to get run-over for a $20 found tool.

I did find this I-R 1/2" 231C impact tool a few months ago, in Miami. It came with a deep 3/4" impact socket. Only reason I saw it was I couldn't make a left-hand turn when I wanted, and had to go a couple blocks out of my way before making a U-turn, which is when I saw it.

A bit-of pavement patina, but nothing interfering with its function. I already used it for a pair of Camry rear springs/shocks.

Picked up these road finds recently. Really got excited thinking I had found one of the lost 10mm that goes awol so often. But it's just a snappy 7/16...oh well!

I might have donated a 10 mm socket with a 3/8 drive impact adapter to the public streets over the weekend. Either that or it's still in the engine compartment somewhere. After 20 minutes of contortions with a flashlight and a mirror, I gave up.

It’s been a few months since my last find. Here’s todays door panel remover. From my car, I couldn’t tell that it had road rash and wasn’t a Snap On. Still a good find as I didn’t have one until now.
