Today's Score W/Update

Friend is closing down the diesel repair shop he inherited from his father. Gave me this parts washer but I had to agree to take the 16 gallons of yucky diesel fuel in the barrel. Right now I have $3.50 invested in a can of AutoZone spray on engine cleaner and some time. I'm hoping to find a fresh 15 gallon drum but, if not, I'll clean up the one I have. I have a plan that involves angle iron and casters. I never do anything easy.

Man, if that shop could talk. It looks like real men did real work in that joint for a long time!

:+1: I like the one lonely bright orange bottle jack. Sticks out like a sore thumb.

WOW! that came out nice compared to the before pics. Great score and let me be the first to tell you YOU ****!

My first "You ****." What an honor.

Spent some time this weekend fabricating a roll around stand for the parts washer. It puts the "floor" at 36" which is much more comfortable than the 27" you get with the 16 gallon drum. Friend tells me he has a good drum that I can have. If that falls through I can always clean up the one that came with the washer.
