i payed 396.00 for the scope plus he sold my pro vision eagle scope for me for 250.00 so i it made it about 146.00 diff and a much better bore scope.
i get good deals from my snappy dealer i got my box for 11500.00 retail is
18500.00 price it out its on page 90 or 91 on show us your tool box.

it is nice to see it on video instead look at microscope... I dont work as much i do than last year with chrysler so i dont want spend money on tools if i dont work much... so i just investment in my bank...

I think it would be good for a shop owner or mechanics that do complete rebuilds and internal work; in that case, I think it would pay for itself quickly! Plus, being able to diagnose something quickly or decide to get a long block instead; quicker diagnosis equals more money made!

Inspecting cylinder heads/valves and tops of pistons comes to mind; I'm sure once you have the tool you could probably find allot of uses for it, if you are a skilled tech and know what you are doing/looking for! To be able to diagnose a engine without tearing it all apart could really save and make you money, IMHO! The quicker you can diagnose the problem, figure out whats wrong, order the parts, repair the car and get it out the door, the more money you make! Get it out and on to the next one...

Nice thing about the S/O boroscope is that it is small enough to actually fit into small, tight spaces.

The price doesn't seem far off from what other companies are charging for similar scopes.

Welcome to the world of the pro tech; prices and purchasing of tools is a different realm then you/I are used to or would probably be ever willing to pay; many journeyman techs have 50K-100k or more invested in their tools/boxes...

eny thing snap on is not cheap but it is a invesment for a life time and they will probably last my kids life time once i give them all my tools when im done working. the bore scope is cheap i used my pro vision all the time mainly truck rearends gear boxes under dashes inthe house the kids drop things down vents had to look inside a wall resently to see witch way a cabel was going there are endlss uses for one if you have one.

Just got a mini-hook set of 4 -- orange hard-handles, though I would've liked black. But at least I found that set, which I'd wanted for the past month or so. Also got an SOEX 11/16's wrench.

Looked at the S-O brand vise-grips but they were Made in Spain. Looked good enough.
