Time to lock the stall door so to speak?

A job I was on a few year ago was about a half-hour down a nasty dirt road, about 60 guys and some office maggots.

They has 6 Sani-huts by the portable offices, 4 of which were locked. Obviously for office use only.......

It was funny; anytime the wind came up the only ones overturned were the locked ones........also, every couple of days, someone would drop a large firecracker down the vent pipe.......

After a few weeks, all the locks were gone.

Two stories that I've heard, customer kept calling the A/C guy cause their A/C smelled. Finally found a turd on a piece of cardboard inside the duct work. No smell until the A/C was turned on.

Another story where the electricians were peeing on the concrete block firewall and the owners wife stopped by. She noticed the wet spot and felt it and said "looks like we got a leak"

And there's several stories on how the sheetrocker goes to open his pail of mud only to find something brown inside.

Take care of your workers/ contractors and hopefully they return the favor.

Just rent the regular porta potty, do you really want guys shitting all over your property?

When I was young back in the 80s, I worked with my dad as a mason contractor. Back then the general contractors generally did not provide a porta potty because it was not really a thing back then.

The guys used to **** everywhere. They would leave buckets and bags of feces all over the property. Do you really want guys leaving **** all over your home and **** stain toilet paper all over your property.?

A porta potty includes toilet paper and weekly cleaning to keep guys happy. When you have a small crew of guys trust me, they will fill it up.

+1 on just paying for a portable toilet from a reputable company. Cost of construction and keeping workers and inspectors happy.

I would definitely pay for the rental.
Sure you could save a couple bucks and DIY but why have to clean up thay for several months?
I'm a tight wad but not that tight.

Makes one proud to be a tradesman doesn’t it?

Real fine group, there.

This is one of those “do onto others as you would have others do onto you” moments.

At the end of the beaten path and they don't like your crapper? Be careful mowing the lawn. I've seen where Mexican crews **** right on the wall they're leaning on even with rows of fiberglass outhouses available. (We were the last guys there at 6pm except for the drywall bunch, their "evidence" was there on the wall at daybreak the next morning) I've found a little hunk of insulation with a nice pile on it on the 2nd floor.
It depends on the crews but I've seen other things I won't describe here.
Some big jobs are full of 3rd world workers with 3rd world "cultures".
Bath tub.

The build has to be completed by now, right? This thread is going on three years old.
I’m pretty sure Walker discussed having cancer a couple years ago.

Or after searching at his recent threads, looks like he just blew this one off 😉

You're generous calling them tradesman . . . I generally think of them as @ssholes.
It only takes one idiot to make the rest of the bunch look bad. Which is true in almost all professions.

Lack of pride in one's work also contributes to poor behavior and crappy product.
