Anybody know about tools made by Tomlee?

I'm looking at an old benchtop bandsaw.

Thanks for the link.

I should have walked on by, but the color of that old cast iron got me.

My Dad passed away and I found his Tomlee Model 46 Bandsaw buried among his tools in the garage. I have researched it and it appears to be missing some critical parts. It's for sale now. Located in Parkersburg, WV. Not sure what it's worth as a vintage collector's item since it only sold for $50-60 new in the late 40s.

$50 in 1940 is equal to approx $500 today.

I have a small Tomlee tilting table saw that I got from some old guy in CT as part of a bundle buy with a really old vise and a DP. It's cool as hell.

My Dad had a TomLee Tools Table Saw, after enough work on it he made it usable, but he always said it was Cheap, It Belonged to his dad....

I recently had a friend give me an old TomLee model 46. It was pretty rough and required a lot of TLC. After putting new tires on it and building a stand for it I am quite pleased with the end result. I just love old American made stuff including the old Delco motor. I will probably repaint the saw this summer, just wanted to get it operational. Now I need to come up with a fence for it.

Probably a bit overbuilt, but that saw and motor are heavy. Plus my obsessiveness kicks in and I want it to outlast me....lol
