My camera and first pictures unfortunately disappeared last month so I'm starting to post pics of my project already in progress. In the beginning there was only a pathway to get from the driveway to the door into the house. I rented a storage unit and have moved almost everything out over the past month.

This is the cleanest the garage has been in about 10 years...neighbors are freaking out on me...lol The Sony TV you see here has been buried under a sheet for longer and low and behold it still works. Also moved out 3 other "vintage" dirt bikes in the process leaving a Honda Z50R and a 71' Trail 70 behind for the kids to have fun with. As well, got rid of that white plastic shelving and picked up a Gladiator cabinet.

With a little background behind us - let the work begin...more pics to come...

Everything Kilz'ed finally...except doors - finally. I am going for a gray on the bottom a little below half way, red or blue stripe then white to the ceiling. Got some great ideas from you guys.
Also picked up another Gladiator cabinet and got a fridge off of Craigslist...getting organized finally. Also removed the old wood shelves and will replace with Gladiator cabinets later.

Two of the other other project bikes

Note: I insulated the garage door but I'll post pics on that project later.

Used Locktite PL-300 Foamboard to adhere to door then cut small squares to hold in place while it dried.

Looking good. Lots of progress if you only had a pathway. So I gotta ask, are you going to slowly trickle stuff back in from storage or is that your long term solution? I've gone through my garage a couple times in the past and liquidated what I don't need, never even considered a storage unit.

Nice insulation work on the door. Any idea how much weight that added? We have a similar-sized door on our garage at the house I'd like to insulate. We added some of the 'insulation kits' to one of the doors in our shop, and it made the door almost too heavy to lift. I'd like to not work the door opener that much.
