Looking to buy a toner/probe kit.
Partial to Fluke (Pro 3000) based on past experience with their meter (179) and IR thermometer. However, open to suggestions re: other brands.

Is the filtered probe worth the extra cost?

We use the pro 3000 at work they are some of the better ones we’ve had. The filter helps with induction and bleed over. Guess it depends on what you are looking to do with it.

Any of them will work for your uses. The more expensive tones allow you to run multiple tones at once and will even change tones for various conditions (ie shorted pair) the probe is nothing more than an amplifier my favorite use to be the old bent greenlees. 8E168C8E-A7ED-4B59-A375-8C63CBB4F250.jpeg
