Tonneau cover supports

Just got this tonneau cover. Had no struts/lift supports. Manufacturer no longer in business. Anyone recommend a set. How many pounds force required. Had 10mm ball on under aside of tonneau cover. I propped it up with board and showed 60 lbs weight on scale under the board
Did find a handle and squirted some paint on this week

Full size trucks generally use 100 lb shocks...guessing downsize may use a bit less but always better to have too much instead of not enough. Helps to have an old one to use for a length measurement as if they are too long the cover may not close and if they are too short it may not stay open.

Thanks. I got some in the discontinued bin at RV store for $7.70 each:thumbup:. About 8” long closed. A bit short I believe but rated 90 psi. They do the job. Online info was sketchy. One company said 120 psi but reviews found customers saying hard to close lid.
