Looks fine to me. Some people just need to sell quick. Debt, retirement, moving, etc. Email or call and get more info. Ask for proof of purchase. If you do buy it, type up some type receipt or bill of sale to protect yourself if you're taking its stolen. As for clones or look a likes, you can tell if it's a Matco when you look at it.

I would be worried if it was 500$, 1500$ seems fair on both ends. It is a used box and they may just need it gone due to upgrade, financial trouble etc.
