Can you submit a receipt from the snap ok man showing payment on account? Or work out some sort of deal with the SO man for making a down payment on something bigger?
That way you could bank it with the tool guy as a credit or put it toward something you want that is more than the annual amount.
I did this with a mag drill once. The company didn’t want to buy one, but I could rent one. I told the welding supply salesman to “rent” me one and apply the rent payment towards a purchase that I would buy separately from the company.
