Hello I recently got a tool bag. I am looking for ideas what to put in it. What do you use the most and what is just a waste of space.

My tool bag is used exclusively in my ATV, 'just in case' (knock wood). Very little organisation as it gets bounced around on trails. Fast LT1's question would start you off.

I have a similar setup for an off road bag. I am using an apple computer neoprene laptop case from the 80s when a laptop weighed 80lbs. Mine is set up with: folding military shovel, ****** strap/rope, chain, clevis, gloves, old timer folding pocket knife, a folding hunting saw with multiple blades intended for hacking up animals but versatile enough for many uses, 11 in 1 screwdriver, wiss aviation snips, toilet paper, latex gloves, an adjustable wrench, channel lock pliers, sometimes a pipe wrench, a limited socket set, bailing wire, zip ties, duct tape, super glue, band aids, a ryobi tek-4 lithium 4v led flashlight (great light, compact, stays charged for years, provides over 6 hours of continuous light) and a backup Gerber multi tool. Things I'd like to add are a small Gerber hatchet and strike anywhere matches.

I have a small craftsman bag that is my electronics bag. I have it loaded with DMM, soldering irons, wire strippers, spare wire and the sorts.

I also have a large one that mainly gets used on junkyard trips and it has a breaker bar, my deep sockets wrench roll, pliers, crescent wrench, allen wrenches, nut drivers, and screw drivers.
