When buying a duffel-type bag to carry tools, what kind of material should I look for?

Are North Face Basecamps travel bags suited for carrying tools? Looking at the reviews, they are considered the most durable

What are you planning on using it for? Everyday tool bag or something to load up and stick in the trunk just in case?

I have been using a CLC toolbag for work recently and like the semi solid construction I have a couple of craftsman more duffel like bags and while they work to throw stuff in and run to a job i prefer the CLC bags organization for everyday use.
