I have been getting into installing large numbers of various dispensers at facilities and to make my life easier, I have been buying the right equipment to make my life easier.

Can you suggest a good add on pocket, hopefully available locally as I need it for tomorrow. for a 2" nylon tool belt?

Thanks,

CLC has an extensive line of pouches and tool holders. Some hardware stores or home centers may have stock. My last side pouch was a CLC bought thru Amazon (good price too)

Harbor Freight has 4 pocket leather side bag usually on sale for around 12.99 it's a fairly decent pouch and I like the leather hammer loops over metal ones anyways but I found it too long. I put a hammer in it and it was hitting me in the knee :lol_hitti

And if its specifically a cordless drill holder your after I think the hook is handier than a drill pouch. I have 3 drill holsters 2 older leather Makita branded ones I never use at all, and a newer nylon Milwaukee pouch. My main issue with pouches is tool balance especially with big batteries, hanging it just seems so much better and the drive tip is most often directed behind you. Shoving the drill in pouch sometimes you will engage the trigger unless you lock it out and honestly how many people often do that. Plus the your drive tip can protrude out the bottom and u might get stabbed in the leg too.

I usually just keep my M12 stick light in the red pouch now :D

Most newer drills at least the ones I seem to look at either come with an integrated belt hook or have the option to mount one. And a big reason I like the smaller 12v tools is both a drill or impact driver can easily fit in the main pocket of my tool pouch

Tractor Supply and Ace Hardware are both brick and mortar retailers of CLC, which is great stuff. I'm a fan of the AWP stuff at Lowe's though, it's a great balance of cost, quality, utility, selection and of course availability. Their drill holster has a little spill-proof drawstring pouch attached that's a nice touch, and I usually grab it over my CLC drill holster.

I've just recently discovered the Tough Built tool belt system though, and with all the clip-on options and the kickstands on the bags I'm really thinking about making a switch. The stuff looks awesome, but it's not available in stores from what I can tell.

Needing it tomorrow, I really suggest AWP at Lowe's, and as I mention as often as I can, I hate Lowe's.

I love the Tough Built stuff too and its available at Menards I dont have the drill pouch but the 10 or so other things I have are great so Im sure that would be too. I have felt it up at the store and seems like it would be slim and hold what you need.

I've been a big fan of Occidental Leather for a while now.
Not sure it's there's a local dealer for you, but I'd look into it.
Their stuff isn't cheap but it'll certainly last a long time.

For what's available local to me, Lowes has Dewalt branded holsters for both drills and as well an impact driver/smaller drills like 12v.

Can't speak to the quality or value as I'm a lefty and my next purchase will be a lefty one from Occidental. The one I have now is from AWP and is ok but not worth recommending and I don't think they carry this one anymore.

The Dewalts look nice and I wish I could use them. But they're no Occidental for sure.

Toolguyd sent me one to try because of my situation of being in a wheelchair. Can't remember the brand but it worked perfectly. I added a small nylon bucket and I was good to go. No matter my position or that of the drill it stayed in place. Can't say enough about them. This was when there were few choices. Still going strong.
