Tool box by Facom

I have found an ideal portable tool box that I was looking for a long time. It is made by Facom. It is not cheap and very hard to buy on e-shop that offers delivery to Europe. Many tools boxes made by Facom are also made by other well knows companies, but not this one. I cannot find anything like that. I am wondering maybe anyone has seen this tool box made by different manufacturer? I am hopping maybe it would be easier to buy it.

FIY, I have found 2 e-shops. A German one that's offering delivery to some European countries (and mine is not in that list), and company called its-tools. But I don't like this statement under their Terms of transport: "All delays or other problems related to the shipping are the responsibility of Taxipost S.A. of Paris France Porteur and International Tools Service S.A. can’t be held accountable for it.". What they are saying is that if I don't receive my ordered stuff they won't offer any help trying to resolve this issue.

You would be better off buying a Pelican case and using their foam to customize it to the tools you need and use. Pelicans are practically bullet proof.
They are waterproof, have wheels/handle and a very good value. Come in many sizes. I have used one for 15 years and it is still in good shape in spite of the airline and fed-ex handlers. The military use them too.

The next step down would be a nice Jensen Case. I have had one of these for over 30 years and is still in good shape.

Just because it is from Europe does not make it better. Judging from the picture of that Facom I do not think it will hold up over time.

But it is your dime.

Talk to Julian at PrimeTools.co.uk

They are one of the main Facom dealers in the UK, and if there is something that isn't listed, they will happily order it in.

They ship worldwide (and are a member here).

You will not find a more decent company to deal with.

I haven't just checked this brand. I have found one case that is similar to the one made by Facom - it is 1460TOOL. I have watched this review and I must say I am impressed. Question is, how to find it for a reasonable price in Europe? In the USA it costs around $200 and in Europe they want €400, what an absurd!

The next step down would be a nice Jensen Case.
I haven't found any catalogs for these cases. All I could find was Stanley's e-shop. And it is not great because in most cases they don't show how tool box looks from inside.

In America we call those tackle boxes and take em fishing:D
Ohh, you are very right about its prime purpose (fishing). Then I was young I used to have a tool box like this one. However, Facom's tool box is definitely not for for fishing :D.

Yes, indeed.
I was not happy to pay €200 for it, but £200 + VAT is way too much.

Pelican vs Facom = protection vs handiness :)

I am afraid that the Facom cases are quite expensive, but have looked at the price of this case and put it on a special offer, in case you can be tempted!
They are in stock in France and we could dispatch within a week, delivery within the UK is free, but please contact us directly for a shipping quote.
