Tool box choice: Küpper vs Hazet vs Festool

Hi chaps,

I've narrowed down my choice to these 3 brands. Help me decide (but please don't tell me "take 'em all" )

I would tend to go for the plastic ones since overall weight can be a concern but I'm opened to any suggestion.

Right, I've seen all the raves about the 190L...but why is it so popular, is the 190L really the King of the Hill ?

I really like the 190 and I wish it would work for me, but It takes up too much room when opened and I usually don't have that kind of room when working on something. I still work on a lot of boats and space is usually limited, and a metal box will scratch fiberglass eventually no matter how careful you are. I voted for the 50100, It's similar to what I use and have been using for the last 30 years, A tray for sockets, small wrenches, ratchets, and assorted small tools, and enough room on the bottom to carry extra tools needed for a specific job (just be sure to remove them when finished, long boxes have the ability to get very heavy when not cleaned out regularly).

I like the hazel 190L3. I like the plastic vs. the metal for durability. If you prefer metal the 190L is sweet too.

I can't tell you why, I just like the configuration and prefer metal over plastic in a toolbox in most cases.

My choice would be the Hazet 190L-3, just like the style of it and it seems to have the right size.

I've got the 190 L3 , nice box but its plastic , Facom sell something similar too

Got to love metal 190 though , always fixable , broken plastic is rarely so

Ok guys, just ordered this one:

Basically exactly the same as the Hazet 190-L3 but...30€ cheaper !

I loved the 3 boxes for screws, the cantilever design and seems like I can put a ton of stuff in this box.
I won't be the proud owner of a Hazet product but hey, it's a toolbox !

I have a knock off of this box and LOVE IT. Can't go wrong with a cantilevered METAL box.

Wow, I think I might be picking up one of those pouches for work (industrial automation electrician)!

I ended up going with a Hazet 190L, these threads helped me make my decision.
