Kennedy makes toolboxes in the USA, says so right on them.

To Our Valued Customers:

100 years, that’s how young Kennedy is, and how long we have been building the industry’s most dependable tool storage cabinets.

During the past 100 years, our boxes have stood beside the American worker through one great depression, several recessions, prohibition, two world wars, a missile crisis, numerous military conflicts, lunar landings, the building of a wall, the fall of the wall, September 11th, the first African American president, and the first and last shuttle launch.

Throughout, we have remained committed to building the highest quality American made product possible. We take great pride in the fact that Kennedy branded products are still to this day being manufactured in Van Wert, Ohio.

We recognize that without your loyalty to the Kennedy product line, we would not be celebrating this tremendous milestone. We thank you for choosing to purchase our product and hope to continue to provide you with the quality tool storage you need and deserve for another 100 years.

I believe Lyon ( http://www.lyon-cabinets.com/index.cfm?mf=browse.showClass&partCatID=781&category=Lyon Tool Cabinets )still makes toolboxes here in the USA, Edsal (www.edsal.com/ ), Geneva Manufacturing (www.genevamfg.com/ ) And there are lots more.

Don't fall into the trap of buying a cheap low quality substandard third world Asian tool boxes that depreciate over time, buy a quality USA made toolbox, your tools will thank you.

My Mac toolbox,it is made in Canada and says on a white tag inside the toolbox carcuss

That was made at the Beach plant in Smith Falls, ONT. They also made the Husky toolboxes there. Thanks to Stanley, they closed the plant a bunch of years ago (maybe 10 or so??). The ball bearing Husky and the Mac were the same box, except color.

My Husky Branded box is made by Waterloo in Sedalia, MO. Last time I checked Missouri was in the USA :lol_hitti

Its not the nicest box out there, but buying on sale I paid $250 and got an 11 drawer combo box that fits my needs prefectly! :rocker:

Cheaper and better than any Harbor Freight, Task Force, or Kobalt box made in Beijing by an 11 year old

Matco boxes are made in Jamestown, NY.

They are made in a Matco owned building by matco employees.

They are made custom to the specific customers order.

Nothing but pure american made quality and engineering there!
