Anyone know a good source for Box Covers? I have a mint minus Snap On Bel Air double stack (KRL 761/KRL 791 plus 24 x 24 Side Locker attached) that I am looking to cover. I know there may not be any of the original Snappy covers out there, but I will go for a quality alternative. My setup dimensions are 81" Wide x 24" Deep x 60" High.
I appreciate any help in keeping this beauty safe. Eye candy attached

Cool box! I'd go to a good upholstery person or even someone that makes tarps and boat covers. This would allow you to pick your color or colors, have zippers or snaps wherever you want them and basically have a custom cover for not a lot of cash.

I agree.

Find a local boat dealer, upholsterer or sail maker and they should be able to make what you need.

If that is not a "lift lid" stack, making what you need will be far easier.

I'd do 4 verticle zippers, one at far left edge and other sdie of the side box, and then one in the center of the stack so that if you don;t need to access the side box and one on the far right, then you can flp the two flaps of the stacker over the top.

You have to choose between vinyl and canvas or treated sunbrella and good zippers (YYK) or snaps.

Canvas is not great for dusty envions but can work out if on a budget.

YOu can also ask them to sew in a liner or quilting for extra $$$ to keep scracting at a minimum.

I have worked in the custom uphostery mkt for years and had a good freind who was parts mgr for a local boat industry for decades. I;ve seen it all made.

Configure and then get quotes.
Not that hard for such a nice box.
Lift lid top box covers on stackers are a bit harder to work around and I saw it daily.

:)

This guy is hands down the best.

https://www.comsew.com/

I have his cover on my matco 55 and he custom made it perfectly. Cheap too. 135 shipped or so (my box is smaller than yours though lol)

I highly recommend him i get comments about how nice the cover is all the time. He can do initials or custom lettering too if you wanted that. He uses a thick material nothing like the garbage that snap on sells, it will actually protect against scratches. Plus the dude uses some industrial strength zippers that make the tiny snap on zippers look pathetic

Sorry for the awful picture im away working on a boat (engineer) and this is the only picture i have on my phone, took about 10 minutes to upload on this slow boat internet connection.

The cover is sturdy enough to use as a work drop cloth, the 2 years i used it everyday i never took the cover off just flipped it up each morning and worked right on top of it

I dont ussually praise stuff so much, but the guy who made the cover really deserves some credit.. made in the usa, by hand, high quality, for cheap.
