So what are your suggestions on home made drawer dividers for my toolbox drawers? I was thinking aluminum angle stock but it seems expensive, What are some things you guys use? I'm looking for something non permanent that can help me organize my tools a little better such as dividing SAE and metric and phillips and flathead. Thanks in advance.

I got some silverware plastic holders at garage sales that work well for cheap. Used one for wrenches, drill bits, files , sawzall blades , and whatever you can think of. They are pretty handy .

My MAC box came with dividers and I hate them! I ripped most of them out. Essentially they're thin pieces of sheet metal 90 degree angle. Carpenter I work with used thin wood to build dividers.
My favorite are old timer boxes they are about 5"x8"x4" and clam shell together so I take them apart and get two 2" deep trays.

I use 1"x wood cut about a half inch short with rubber pads glued to each end. Stays in place but can be easily moved for box re-organizing. Also the rubber tips keep from scratching up inside of drawers
I made these to sort my junk drawer out. Built from 1 x .125" flat stock. Cut half way through at the joints with a cut off wheel and slotted together. A tack weld at the bottom locks the joint. The whole thing lifts out of the drawer if I change things around.

i cut up an old drywall "T" square and used these brackets: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Simpson-Strong-Tie-18-Gauge-Galvanized-Steel-Angle-A21/100374951 with double sided tape to make my drawer dividers
