Ok I'm trying to sell my 2003 Suzuki Z400 sport quad, I have it listed on Craigslist for $2500. A guy emailed me today and wondered if I'd be interested in trading straight up for this Snapon box below. He said it is 5 yrs old and has 2 small creases in the back thats it. I don't want or need the box but I'm thinking it would be easier to sell then my quad especially with winter coming. I've done some searching around on Craigslist for some comparisons but I'm still not sure on the value of this exact box.
Upper model# KRA5208D 54"x20"x20"
Lower # KRA5213D 54"x20"x39"
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jeff
Here is my quad add if interested.

I don't think you can get $2500 for that box. But I could be wrong. Maybe $1500 or $2000 if the right person comes around.

Here in philly you would get 2500 for it. People ask CRAZY prices for boxes here. Tell him you'll trade straight up if he leaves his tools in it :)

OK, I'm not expecting to get $2500 for my quad either, but I don't wanna get burned either. Maybe I should tell the guy to sell it on his own and then call me when he has cash.

What is the lowest you'll take for the quad?

Figure that out, then do some research online at Craigslist and eBay completed auctions to see if you could get that for the toolboxes.

Also determine which you think would be tougher to sell and make your decision accordingly.

You wont get burned on that deal.I do think it would be easier to sell than the quad.

I'd try to get some cash out of him, he's coming to you, which means he wants the quad.

Quads will come and go but that'll probably the last box you need.

I see everyone saying they paid 1k for that box, if you're driving through pa ill give you 1100 on lunch today. That box in the northeast would sell for 2000-2300 at least, is guess you could probably squeeze at 25-2600
