Hello all. I purchased this tool box yesterday at a yard sale for five bucks with tools inside. There was nothing in the box worthy of note except a MAC 11/16 - 5/8 line wrench. I thought the box was cool because of the graphics on top. Does anyone know who made it? Thanks.

There's been a couple discussions here about those boxes before - I don't recall who the manufacturer was, but they were sold through several different stores. There were some variations in the stripe, some had that little racecar guy, others had slightly different graphics. I have one, I got it for Christmas when I was a kid. years ago. Mine came out of the Montgomery Wards catalog.

I had one of these last year. I swore it was a simonsen rally line box as the color and stripe are extremely similar. Turns out it was a dodge / mopar box that I believe was in some way associated with the coronet super bee.
