When i went to look at it it was certainly as billed. In talking with the guy selling it he was going to school to be a nurse and didnt need it anymore. When I opened the drawers and looked in it was obvious from the dust traces in there that he had very little in the way of tools in it. I had asked him why he went for such a box with nothing really in it and he said he had "just wanted a Snap-on box". This guy took at least a $2600 hit plus whatever he had in for interest at the time. To each his own but I did pretty well in the deal so I'm with the opinion that its good that there are those types out there too....
I hear you loud and clear. I have the exact same philosophy on used bikes. I'm glad there's soooo many guys out there that "think" they really need to buy a new Harley. The nthey only ride it 2000 miles in a couple years.

That provides those of us that really ride with an abundance of great, low mileage bikes!

For those who think you build credit financing through Snap-on, you better check into that. I bought a large tool box as well as a lift and neither were reported to the credit agencies. I understand if you are late on payments they'll sure report it.

Same deal with John Deer. I made every payment on time on a $25,000 tractor. No trace of it on my credit report.

I started there April first.

I worked at NTB and man do i miss 2k paychecks every other week. Not to mention the occasional 4k paycheck. If you stay busy its very easy to make good money at NTB if you have a good sales team and not a bunch of order takers. I love the way they pay by percentages and i love looking up your dollar amounts and seeing real money figures rather than hours flagged. The only problem is they go through managers and service advisors like toilet paper. The good ones get moved to bad stores and the bad ones get moved around until they are fired or quit. It really can make or break a store having the wrong people in charge, especially when every new manager comes in and trys to change everything. If it werent for my **** *** boss, id still be there. What store do you work at?

i have a craftsman top and bottom box thats stuffed to the gills, where you have to spread things around to shut the drawer (cant even attempt to shut the top lid)

and another craftsman bottom box thats filled as well, and the slides are falling apart because its wayy over the weight limit

i like the snap on boxes, but i have alot of other things to buy before i get a show box, becasue what i have does the job fine, it just takes a minute sometimes to find the tool within the madness of the drawer.

but im content having 2 low end boxes filled with snap on, matco, mac cornwell, plus my old proto SK and craftsman tools, than have a high end box filled with junk and no specialty tools

My boxes are all full. When I fill one I buy another.

My Craftsman top and bottom tool box was full and I was storing tools in my work locker before I bought a bigger Snap On box. That was 19 years ago. And when I first started turning wrenches... If I had to barrow a tool more then once I would buy that tool.:bounce:
