I have to say this stuff is Great ( matco liner SL35A) I bought 2 rolls as I am redoing a box I am selling ( anyone need a 40" craftsman 1998 build date
0313160040-00.jpg
) and my matco 3 bay and some other smaller boxes ,

this stuff is tacky as frog snot , you have to use sharp tools to cut it clean , but the cuts are nice and once it lays down its there , no curling or buckling ( unless you cut it wrong ..) eric was easy to deal with , funny guy to talk to , stuff ships fast and packaged in a strong box ,

these are how I cut the stuff to size ,

I used a piece of old counter top as its straight and smooth and made my straight edges on one side and laid down tape for the others ,
0404161616-00.jpg

and I used my drywall square for the long cuts as you can push it to hold it down to the cutting surface .

for knifes I used a carpet knife with new stanley blades and several single edged razor blades ( 100 ct from HF ) the blades have to be sharp as they will fubar the edge as this stuff is Tough and has a thread reinforcement . the sissors kind of ****** up the edges .

IMO this is the best deal around .. thanks Eric ! PS need to ship some extra decals in package to place so we do not loose info

i got some of the nu-source liners that ericnusource sells. i really like them, although i haven't had them long. things dont stick to them like some liners i have tried, they are thin enough that they dont rob space from shallow drawers. i used a box cutter to cut it down to size, and it seemed to go through blades at a pretty good rate (about 2 blades per 20 drawer toolbox stack), which implies that it is pretty tough stuff.

time will tell, of course, but so far they are working out really well. I'm happy.

Guys, my advise to to buy the full roll. You will end up using it for more then just a single box. It's really great stuff.

I can't believe the guys that spend big bucks on a box and then waste the precious drawer height with carpet or thick rubber mats. Thinner is better!!!

i got two full rolls, actually. one did all of one KR555/550 stack, and most of a second stack. now i have stuff for the side box and third stack i picked up.

definitely get the roll, but clean off a table, you need plenty of room.

Hi Eric, I'm trying to reline my KRL761/722. I have read that it's cheaper for you to custom cut than it is for me to buy a roll and do it myself?

To others, how much was it to redo a typical bottom cabinet?

I too like the thin ruggedness of the dense foam. It also stays fit in the draw. You don't want it too thick.

I just made up a bunch of 22.5" Rolls of High Grip PVC Liner that would fit a lot of Matco tool boxes. 30ft Approx per roll if anyone is interested.

So a while back I got a Proto 450HS top chest through proto brand new for $300 because a company returned it and it was black. My question is, does anyone know who makes the liner's for it? Best liners ever.

Inb4 yes this is my designated tool polisher chest. My real tools that see some real sh are in my cantilever box until I build a cart for this baby and move it into the shop.

Sorry but I was away from the Forum for a while. Car Quest, I don't have the specks on the drawer sizes, but I'm sure we could do it. Just need to now the drawer sizes.

We decided to offer 2 types of our Solid liner going forward based on Garage Journal Members feedback. As a thank you we are going to hold our $90 Large Roll special for all of 2017! Feed back was very helpful and I appreciate it!

I recognize I am late to this discussion but what recommendation would you have for my new/used Matco tool box/chest or in general?
