I have received some great feedback from the Garage Journal family on our PVC Solid Tool box liner material. Because of the fantastic feedback, I have decided to sell the following material as a special for GJ members only.

72" Wide x 20ft Roll of PVC (Cut yourself has been the most poplar) for $90.00 with FREE shipping.

I think more people were interested in cut your self yardage rather the precut kits, as you really get about double the material if you cut it yourself over us doing it. But we can still cut to size if desired.

Of course I will still send out a free sample swatch if asked!

Thanks again! All the feedback has really helped my company.

Just contact me for more info.

Eric

I have this liner and can vouch for it being really good stuff.

Email Eric instead of PM, and he'll get back to you (usually within 1 business day).

Two Snap On KR562 Taco Carts, a few garage cabinets, my road box, and my tool cart have been re-lined with enough left over to keep me happy for quite some time.

Great product, great company to work with.

I have this liner in my box as well. It is a great material. I am, however, looking for way to keep it held down in my box. When I shut the drawer the liner moves around. Any suggestions?

This is not a knock to the product, it is excellent, just looking for a way to keep it from sliding a little in my box.

Thanks.

Put some tools in the drawer!!

I haven't found that the liner moves around but you need to lay it down flat.

I've also noticed the the two sides have a slightly different texture. Maybe one side grips the drawer better.

I love this stuff. It's as good as KRL liner!!

Honestly, the drawers with the heaviest loads are sliding the most. I was thinking to put a dab of silicone on each corner or something.

I'm not sure why my PM isn't working but I will look into to. Sorry.

But if you are noticing the material is sliding around it may be that the liner is cut too short for the drawer. That tends to be the most common problem with any drawer liner. If we made it TOO sticky it would then stick to tools and pick up off the drawer when you grab it.

If sliding is an issue, we do carry a sticky felt that can be placed under the liner or you can use 3M removable strips. I use this liner in my desk drawer every day and it really never slips. I used to have one side sprayed the PVC with an adhesive, but we had too many people putting the wrong side down (despite directions) and would have it grip their tools instead. Last thing anything needs is a sticky tool!

Thanks Eric. Here's what I wanted to ask you: I am currently using the open weave "waffle" style liners that came with my box, and that it seems all the big box stores sell. It has started eating the black rubber trim on my Milwaukee M12 tools, but not the red plastic fortunately. I am curious if you know what causes this, is there some chemical used in certain liners that may be leaching out? And if so, are your liners susceptible to the same thing? I see on your site that you sell a similar style of liner (different than what is posted here,) and I'm not saying it's the same as what I've got, just wondered if you can offer some insight. Ultimately I don't want to drop the money on a roll of the good stuff if it's going to do the same thing in 6 months.

My power tools are rarely if ever exposed to solvents, and get wiped down every day before I lock them up. Worst they normally see is a bit of motor oil here and there.

Sorry it took so long for me to respond. The open mesh liners are often from China. Not all of them, but most. These liners are made with a lower grade PVC and can have additives that are corrosive to tools. These open weave or waffle designs are usually doubled as household shelf liner which do not have the same properties as a true took box liner. That most likely would be the problem you are having.

The only other explanation would be the tool itself has a lower grade grip that is being reactive to the PVC. Honestly, I have never heard this happing with our liners, but I would be more then happy to send a swatch for you to try out.

I ordered a liner from Eric and there was a problem with the shipment. He made sure I got taken care of. I would order from him again.
