Tool Box Locks - Rekey or Buy New

I have 4 tool boxes that I’d like to all work on the same key. Of the 4, 2 are already keyed alike and all 4 use the same blank. Does it make sense to rekey the other 2 or simply buy 4 locks already matched up. The lock mechanisms are different so I wonder if it would be difficult to buy matching.

I'd take them to a locksmith and have 2 of them rekeyed. I just took a cylinder in and had 2 keys made for it ,from scratch for $18. I'd would think rekeying to an existing key would be slightly easier than starting over.

I second the locksmith, a good one can work wonders.

depends on if the locks are compatible. such as same key, same spacing etc. if the keys fit that's a good start but no guarantee .
today's labour makes these inexpensive locks expensive to re key .
oh, and it looks like the one cylinder isn't made to be openable with that factory crimp on it.
the other shows the " driver" depends on if it removes from the lock or not
I would take them all to a locksmith & see what they say
