You mean like accessories/misc **** other than the tools?

Gloves, rags/paper towels, ziplocs, sharpies, paint pens, lights (handheld and work lights), soapstone, magnetic trays, extra couple pairs of safety glasses, notepad, brake cleaner, loctite, tape (painters tape, ducttape, and we have this foil tape at work I like a lot), pickup magnets, and whatever organizers you want to use for your tools.

I also have a plastic file box with file folders in it that I use to keep my work orders, time book, and other paperwork items organized. That sits on top of the box, along with a laptop.

You can find a lot of the stuff like glove box holders, paper towel holders, and such at Harbor Freight or online.

That's what I can think of off the top of my head.

Here are some basics:

Prybars
Gasket Scrapers
Screwdrivers (Philips, flat, torx)
Ratchets
Sockets (Probably don't need anything above 1/2" drive)
Wrenches (box, open end, short, medium, long, etc)
Various pliers (Especially needle nose pliers of different tips and lengths, but you'll need other kinds, including oil filter pliers)
Impact sockets
Impact wrench
Impact screwdriver
Air ratchet (the 1/4" drive ones are usually smaller and lighter making them easier to use)
Breaker bars (I'd at least get a 24" and 36")
Torque wrenches (There are different types, so look into them. I like a good beam style, but I also own a CDI clicker that works well)
Ball peen hammers
Dead blow hammers
Multimeter
Flare nut wrenches
Punches
Tap & Die set
Screw extractors
Reverse drill bits (cobalt)
Feeler gauges

There are more I'm not thinking of. There are also a ton of specialty tools you'll need. It really depends on what you're going to be specifically doing.

Ok I'll give it a go.

Wrenches
Screwdrivers
Bit set
Ratchets
Breaker bars
Sockets
Pliers
Hammers
Measurement tools
Oil and Grease
Multimeter
Soldering iron
Flashlight
Calculator

I'd call that a simple list, cover a little bit of everything and you can get your self out of most problems.

Digital camera. Can be your phone, or an actual camera if you don't want to risk the phone in the shop.

This too. Great for taking apart stuff, and if it has the video function, making short videos of disassembly.

I didn't go into tool lists because I don't know what you are using the box for. Different professions in the mechanical world require different stuff. You have to ask specifically for what you want to do.
