I was at Harbor Freight today as well as Home Depot and was torn between their 48-52" bottom tool box offerings. I then realized that on occasion people post deals that they have found. If anyone comes across an outstanding deal or coupon please shoot me a pm.

If you don't mind the drive there are some good deals on tool boxes in Tampa at the liquidation warehouse by the airport(next to Bob's carpet mart). Probably about 35 min drive for you. They have a listing on craigslist with some pics. I just picked up a brand new ball bearing 26" Husky top box for $35. Prices aren't fixed but I think they're cash only.

In all honesty, the HF boxes are a great value for the money spent. If you look on the threads, there are multiple coupons to get them cheaper than the store price.

You can also check CL for local used truck boxes. Depends on what your price range is.

Here's a link to a load of coupons for HF stuff, including their 44" and 56" boxes. Both seem to get high marks for value for the price. The 20% off coupons on the page don't apply to the boxes.

I might get grief from this but check craigslist there seems to be a lot of old school craftsman boxes popping up. The old school ones are still a pretty good box if that is of interest to you.

I've been looking on CL as well. Even saw a nice box at Home Depot for under $300. My goal is to get a nice base and toss a top and side cabinet in the future.

My bad. I meant it's not a real coupon. They just put it on sale. When I bought mine the girl ran it up and the price was what the flyer said.
