They will be more than willing to paint your box, the question that will be asked is, are you willing to pay for it??? Unless it is a small box, there is a LOT of square footage on a box and drawers and they are a pain to paint. You can almost paint a car for the same amount of paint that a medium sized box will require. Are you going to get real fancy and have it color sanded and buffed or just shoot and go?

I'm not a painter but have painted a lot of shop equipment. I don't think you want to sandblast sheet metal toolboxes at least not with coarse sand. it may make them warp, maybe someone will chime in with a better way, I'm thinking chemical stripping them.

I'd clean it up, scuff it up and break out a few rattle cans or use a sprayer if you have one, it would cost more than what the boxes are worth to paint them, be cheaper to buy a new box in the color you want. I have the same USA made red Craftsman you have, I like that little box.

i like the snap on green but its just not the right color i have the golf shafts the are candy apple green and in the sun it shines but another thing i wanna be different from others many people have lime green boxes and cant go wrong with the price for my boxes $60 for both so there cheap enough to be alittle project for me
