Hey gang
In another thread Post 11808, I mentioned that I was going to get some replacement draw bolts and latches for tools boxes of a more recent vintage. They arrived a few days back, and I just pulled them out of quarantine and gave them a look. Here is a picture of them laid on the front of a Dayton Carpenter's box (made by Kennedy?), about 30" long. Penn Elcom part numbers are on the pics. They aren't cheap in cost or in manufacturing quality. Each is nice and heavy, and probably heavier duty than what already came on the toolbox. The one is almost an exact match, except far shinier. On the other two, the holes in the bottom portion need to be mounted lower. Probably add a backer plate to add some strength to the box for excessive holes in the area.
Not something to use on an old Gerstner or Union box, but probably OK for a carry box.
L1094K-HD - expected it to be black Apparently they sent the wrong one, trying to get correct number to match pic. The black is the only one available in their online store. You need to call a local site to order the nickel ones.
