Tool box score!!! Put the crack pipe down

Great tool box find on craigslist. Guy only wants $175 and includes the rust for no charge This guy needs to put the meth pipe down. Horribly over priced. I don't know how to post the whole ad so I posted the link.

he didn't say in his ad that is wasn't full of tools so maybe it is. he might be a pretty good mechanic because he has about 40 year old masking tape on his drawers and a sharpie marking his tool selection in each drawer. not sure the tool box is that old, but it's worth $50 unless it actually is full of tools still. never ASSUME.

Not as bad as the $8500 Craftsman rolling box with a Matco sticker I found, that probably never sold for more than $2500 new. No tools, those are extra.

I've seen a lot worse ads and box prices. honestly, it has the full depth top and at least around here it is hard to find that particular top and bottom box with that many drawers at all. But yeah, she is rough

Man, that's nothing. There's a guy who's been listing a pot metal Evolv box for months now. The last time I looked, it was $70 NEW at Kmart. He wants more than your guy wants for that.

Yes the box is rough and in that shape, $175 is high. If at bare least, if the lid didn't look like the box said outside and all the slides work, $150 wouldn't seem nuts. That box is early 90's at newest and were built well. Craftsman boxes are so over priced most of the time it is laughable. There is a red drawer home owner grade brand new less then $200 combo on CL by me for $500 right now.

1. Sand the rust off the top.
3. prime and paint the top only with rustolium regal red.
3. goo-gone the drawer fronts
