Need two tool box shocks for a 42" wide CSPS box.

Anyone know where I could get these items. Not shocks for car liftgate.

Check with your local truck cap retailer. The rear window shocks come in all shapes and sizes. A lot less heavy duty than a car trunk shock

You are looking for "Gas Springs" not shocks Search on the correct term and you will find lots of vendors. As said most have numbers on them and I get mine from McMaster Carr.

http://www.mcmaster.com/#gas-springs/=14d88od If you look around McMaster you will also find all the ends and stuff that customize the basic spring.

I have used a place called Austin Hardware to get replacements. They have a website and you can find a pair that will work.
