any idea what my 4 yr old Matco 6 series model 6231rx would be worth? its 58w 48h 31d. same volume as a standard 3 bank. also has upgraded 8 inch iso casters. im in the ne in north jersey. i would like a quick craigslist sale to buy a bigger combo. thanks

I paid $2000 for a Matco 7 Series two bank a little over a year ago.

I also paid about $2000 for an older 7525 Matco off craiglist.
I'd say yours is worth $2000-$2500.

Ive spoken with 2 used dealers, one in lancaster pa, 90 miles away and one in delaware. Delware guy would give me 1000 + matco 5s in pic. pa guy says trade in of 2500 but he would give 3000. i assume they both have buyers lined up. it kinda bites my 31in deep 6s isnt worth any more than a std 6s despite the hefty retail premium. all i want to do is swap mine for a 24in deep triple bank. i dont even care about age brand or stickers!

I'd say its worth 4000, maybe a little more. Matco just doesn't have the resale value like some brands, For the life of me I don't know why.... You can't even compare that box to the competition. If it was snap-on it would be a different story, but thats a die-hard product, just like harley motorcycles and gibson guitars. It's all in the name

I should mention that I hounded craigslist for a long time for my Matco box though. The seller was selling a 5 series 2 bay for 2k, when i got there he also showed me a 7 series. Surprisingly he was selling that for the same price... Naturally, i bought the 7 series
