alright, below are some selections I've been looking at. Only gone to see one of them in person, the "snapon1100". The photo names are brand, and asking price.
The "snapon1100" was actually 2 toolboxes bolted to a shared rail, on 4 casters--you can see the edge of the second box in the photo. The two boxes were KRA-655B, which I couldn't find any info on. I think they were ball bearing.
What is the craftsman industrial series of toolbox, where does it fall quality-wise? Unfortunately, "craftsman" means anything from $100 for the cheesiest **** (but hey, if you just need a drawer), to $3000 for the same dimensions in a heavy-gauge box rated to a couple hundred lbs/drawer. Sellers don't always know which craftsman they have until you drive out to see it.
I'm similarly worried about the kennedy-- is it likely to have thick gauge sheetmetal, ball bearing guides, etc.?
Finally, what might you offer on the snapon box that is not ball bearing...?
Those are just asking prices, I can certainly suggest a lower one. I'd like your advice on what YOU would spend, or offer, and worst the seller can say is "no."
