I know they are gimmicky in some people’s eyes but I love my craftsman Bbq set with the handles like the classic craftsman screwdrivers. eBay has similar offerings from Klein and snap on
Anyone guilty of using these and what brand?

I will buy Weber stuff all day. I’ve had the same scrub brush out in the elements for three years. No rust no deforming no lost bristles.

I've only seen the Craftsman ones in the wild. I'm guilty of selling them immediately.

I think I have a Klein set somewhere that I was gifted and haven't used. Other than that, I have a dozen different tool brand bottle openers, which counts as BBQ tools here!

I got the Craftsman ones, they are a gimmick but they are cool, they work as well as any others.

I used my Klein set for a long time until my doggies figured the rubber handles made better chew toys then BBQ implements. I've also pulled out my SO steak knives for a couple of feeding times for the boys during a car build, but they don't cut all that great.

Are they open end or box end?

I like the beer brand bottle openers. I have a few. My favorite is the one that I can find first. LOL.!! Even artisan beers are going into cans lately, so I don't use the openers as much. The most innovative opener was from Carta Blanca, in Mexico. There was depression in the bottom of their beer bottles that was a bottle opener for another beer bottle.

I bought the Craftsman bbq set for a friend and he uses them frequently, so I assume they are half decent.

I'm paranoid about using any type of wire bristle brush, after hearing about what a nightmare could be to have one ingested.

Now I just use a piece of wood

Yep, I have a Milwaukee sawzall blade / bottle opener, that is about it for BBQ tools.

Some vendors have me the Craftsman set as well a the Kleins a few years ago. The Craftsman are totally gimmicky but the Kleins are really nice. Both get a lot of use but have held up equally well.
